Have always had a problem with sunglass fitment - frames too narrow, the nose bridge things don't fit my face, etc. - and so the "Asian Fit" moniker from Oakley seemed promising. There is a small subset of frame styles that Oakley produces in this "Asian Fit" mode, so I selected the Flak Jacket as the least "modern youth" styled as I'm not a skateboarder or Xtreme sport guy - just a normal guy looking for better fitting frames.They aren't cheap, but having owned Oakleys before (their old Zero Squared model from the '80s and '90s fit Asian domes really well), i already knew that. The box arrives with a hardshell case with a foam insert (with cutouts for the sunglasses and two sets of interchangeable lenses - extra lenses don't come with them, but you've got the slots in the case if you choose to buy them later). These Asian fit glasses fit perfectly. I'm not saying that it will fit all Asian faces, but it did come with a second "nose bridge" piece if the default one didn't fit your face right. I like the design and it also came with a case and microfiber cloth. |
